The Okefenokee is one of the largest, intact swamps in the entire world. There’s only one road into the swamp and it terminates at Stephen C. Foster State Park, a Gold-tier Dark Sky Park.

This album represents the highlights of sound captured during my three night stay in April, 2021.

Enjoy the iconic sounds of this ancient place including explosive pig frogs, echoing barred owls and powerful thunderstorms.

The sounds I captured on this trip were used by the Center for Biological Diversity in an awareness campaign in favor of stopping a proposed titanium mine in the Okefenokee Swamp.
